Security authentication

Q1. What is Security authentication?

Authentication to enhance account security through mobile phones, email, Google OTP (Android) or Google Authenticator (iOS).
Security authentication status is displayed in three levels [Low, Medium, and High].

* It is the purpose to prevent voice phishing and identity theft.

 

 

◈ safety classification "Low"
: New member (non-secure certification status)

◈ safety classification "Middle"
: When a member singed up by mobile phone authenticates with an Email or Google OTP
When a member singed up by email authenticates with an Mobile or Google OTP
- Two security authentication completed

◈ safety classification "High"
: All security authentication completed [Mobile, Email, and Google OTP(Android) or Google Authenticator(iOS)]

 

 

Q2. how to do security authentication?

① A way to authenticate with a mobile

 

[PC WEB]

Step 1. Click on [Human Icon], then click on [Sync]

 

Step 2. Input [Mobile No.] - [SMS Authentication No] - Click on [Link]

 

[Mobile App]

 

Step 1. Access the Huobi Korea mobile app, then click on [Human icon] at the left upper corner

 

Step 2. Click on [Security] - [Phone Number] - [Not Linked]

 

Step 3. Input your mobile number, then click on [Next]

 

 

② A way to authenticate Google OTP

Step 1. Click on [Human Icon] - [My Page] - [Google OTP-Sync]

 

 

Step 2. A way to install Google OTP on the mobile

Search and install Google OTP on the Playstore                                   Search and install Google OTP on the Appstore

                           

 

Step 3. After copy authentication KEY or scan QR code, register OTP app on your mobile, and then

Step 1. Access your mobile, then click on [Human Icon] at the left upper corner

 

Step 2. Click on [Security] - [Google Authenticator] - [Not Linked]

 

 

Step 3. A way to install Google OTP on the mobile

Step 4. After copy authentication KEY or scan QR code, register OTP app on your mobile, and then

   

 

③ A way to authenticate E-mail

Step 1. Click on [Huobi Korea homepage] - [Human Icon] - [Email] - [Sync]

Step 2. Input and click on [Email address] - [Send] - [Link]

 

 

[Mobile App]

Step 1. Access Huobi Korea mobile app, then log in

     

 

 

Step 2. Click on [Security] - [Email] - [Not Linked]

    

 

Step 3. Input email address, then click on [Next]

 

 

 

Q3. My email which is authenticated has been changed or deleted, so I can not log in.

 

Step 1. Access Huobi homepage and click on without login [Support] - [Proof Center]
-[Unbind & Change Security Items] - [Go to]

 

 

Step 2. Click on [Unbind & Change Security Items] - [Unbind Email]

 

Step 3. After click on [Unbind email], input informaiton, and then click on [Upload Files] - [Submit]

* After initializing Security authentication, your won and cryptocurrency withdrawal are restricted for 24hours.*

 

Q4. I lost my certified OTP so I can not log in.

If you have the recovery key or QR code of the OTP registered for the first time, please re-register it on the Google OTP

[If you do not have a recovery key or QR code of the previous OTP]

 

Step 1. Access Huobi homepage and click on without login [Support] - [Proof Center]

 

Step 2. Click on [Unbind Google Authenticator] - [Input information] - [Upload files] - [Submit]

 

 

* After initializing Security authentication, your won and cryptocurrency withdrawal are restricted for 24hours.*

 

Q5. I have changed my phone number, so I can not log in

① If you can log in and receive an authentication number from your previous mobile phone

 

Step 1. Access the homepage through Chrome, then click on [Log in] - [Human Icon] - [My Page]

 

Step 2. Click on [-User Information] - [Security Verification] - [Phone Number] - [Change]

 

 

② If you can not receive the authentication number from your previous mobile phoneis,

 

Step 1. Access the homepage through Chrome, then click on [Support] - [Proof center]

 

 

Step 2. Click on [Proof Center] - [Remove ID verification] - [Go to]

 

Step 3. Click on [Real-name verification (level2) removed] - [Upload files] - [Submit]

 

③ If you can not log in, and also can not receive authention number from your mobile phone

 

Step 1. Access Huobi Korea hompage through Chrome, then click on [Support] - [Proof Center]

 

Step 2. Click on [Unbind & change security items] - [Go to]

 

 

Step 3. Click on [Unbind & change security items] - [Unbind mobile phone]

 

 

Step 4. Click on [Unbind mobile phone] - [Input informaiton] - [Upload files] - [Submit]
